May 9th: Rotary Farmer’s Market in Statesville
I am so excited to share that I’m spending this week in the studio putting the finishing touches on a collection of some new mini-paintings w/easels, and preparing some new prints from my more recent paintings for a very special Saturday. This May 9th marks the season opener for the Rotary Farmer’s Market in Statesville, and I would love to see you there.
There is something so energizing about the first market of the year. You’ll find the market at the corner of Front Street and Meeting Street. I’ll be set up from 7:00 am until 12:00 noon, which is truly the best time to soak up that fresh morning air.
I’ll have a variety of my work on display, so it’s a great chance to see the textures and colors in person. You can spend the morning browsing the local selection of fresh fruits and vegetables to stock your kitchen for the week. And, if you need a little extra incentive to drop by and say hello, my booth is in a "dangerously" delicious location this year:
To my left: Oakwood Bread Company and their incredible heirloom sourdough.
Directly across the way: Annabelle Leigh Cakes, featuring fresh-baked cookies, muffins, and pies that smell heavenly.
Whatever brings you to the market, it will be a good day to stroll and have a friendly chat in the sunshine, it’s going to be a wonderful morning. I can’t wait to see you there!
