Collector’s Corner

From the Easel to a New Home: "Red Orange and Pink Poppies" has Sold!

There is nothing quite like the thrill of seeing a brand-new paintingconnect with a collector almost immediately.

If you remember my February newsletter, you might recognize Red Orange and Pink Poppies, an 18” x 24” acrylic piece I had just finished earlier this year. Well, it barely had time to sit in the window display at The Wine Maestro in downtown Statesville before it caught someone's eye! An anonymous collector snapped it up right from the wine shop.

While I missed the chance to meet the buyer in person to hear what drew them to the piece, the buzz around this painting has been incredible—in fact, my studio prints of these poppies have been flying out the door!

Seeing a new original find its home so quickly is a wonderful reminder of how fast these unique pieces can go. If you’ve had your eye on adding a touch of color to your own walls, don’t wait too long—head over to my website to explore the original paintings currently available before they find their new homes, too!
