COLOR CAN BE SURPRISING AND INSPIRATIONAL

I am obsessed with color, so when I was sitting on my patio one late afternoon in July, sipping a cup of tea, I was thrilled to see that as the sun was getting lower, it sent glowing rays of rainbow-like color to light up my trellis. I saw peach, lavender, and yellow colors on the white trellis, and it was magical. I could not believe that I was seeing the colors that I thought I was seeing, but my camera captured the same colors. I actually have a Peaches and Cream honeysuckle vine growing on the trellis, but when I first painted the correct colors on the canvas, the blooms got lost against the green leaves. I then utilized my artistic license to paint the blooms orange, always a happy color for me.
